Deprecated Functionality

In this section, deprecated functionality are described. Such functions mentioned here are still available, but they are not recommended for new users because better alternatives are offered. They are described here with the sole purpose of supporting existing users. No new features will be added in the future to deprecated functionalities. Usage of functions described here is not advised and if possible, an alternative should be used instead.
